HELP!... Us Release Our New Single!
Money don’t get everything it’s true; however, we are going to need your help with debuting our new ‘45 with our very own rendition of “I Want To Hold Your Hand”/“I Saw Her Standing There”. Therefore, we are launching our Kickstarter campaign on 03/15/23 to help fund the vinyl release.
We will have different tiers of additional Britain’s Finest merchandise you will receive for helping us reach our goal including but not limited to: Britain’s Finest T-shirts, a signed copy of the new single, your name on the list of contributors, and for the top contributors: an exclusive listening party with the members of Britain’s Finest!

Picture Yourself In A Boat On An Ocean
Here’s a look at our time on the Grandeur!
We began our adventure in Phillipsburg, St. Maarten a night before boarding the ship. From Left to right: Howard Pattow (John), Jay Nixon (Paul), Robert Bielma (George), and Brendan Peleo-Lazar (Ringo).
We performed 2 shows each of our 2 different nights on the Grandeur. Unfortunately, Howie’s Rickenbacker for the early set was badly damaged in transit, so he was left with only the Casino for the entire trip.
LA-BA-DEE, LA-BA-DAA, Life goes on, Brah!…
We were fortunate to explore Labadee, Haiti in our off-time on the ship.
With A Little help from our Friends
We were fortunate to have Robert’s wife Megan on the ship, as well as met some great new friends: Steve and Karen Dailey at our dining room table. Unpictured, we also made great friends with our onboard comedian Andrew Kennedy throughout the voyage.
You Say Goodbye, and I Say Hello…
Overall, we had a grand old time on the Grandeur. At our changeover stop in Miami, we were fortunate enough to capture a glimpse of the Oasis of the Seas before we perform there next cruise later this month! Catch us there March 26th - April 9th!
Podcast of the Seas
And then while we were away (and not necessarily writing home every day) we decided to record a new Substack exclusive podcast featuring our Aquatic Crew that will be dropping later this month, just for the lovely fans that choose to support our paid version of the newsletter. In this installment, we discuss what it really takes to be in a Beatles tribute band, and take it to the next level.
That’s all for now in this month’s edition. There’s sure to be more adventures next month. The following edition may be out a little bit later than April 1st since I (Jay) will be on the Oasis with limited to no internet. Until then, keep being the Finest fans of all time!
With love from us to you,
Britain’s Finest
