Happy Holidays Finest fans!
I can’t believe the year has already almost passed us by (without making us cry or blue.) Most of November has been busily spent by us catching up in our homes away from the home away from home or simply put… our homes.
Joking aside, it feels good to get a bit of a refresher as December will see us back to our normal Beatle-related shenanigans spanning 3 continents in the course of a month. There’s plenty to be thankful for so lets unpack:
Picture Yourself…with us at LA Comicon!
That’s right APPLE SCRUFFS!
We’ll be at LA Comicon these next few days all peppered up and ready to get plenty of pictures.
Find us at the LA convention center December 1-3, don’t be shy, come say hi!
Sing Well in Singapore
We are performing our last show of 2023 and our first show of 2024 Internationally in Singapore! We’d like to thank Michael Twombley at Music Zirconia for this opportunity. It’s always a pleasure to share the music of The Beatles around the world.
Get Back Live: A Show in Graves Safety
As we continue to prep for our rooftop concert anniversary show, Get Back Live, we are excited to announce we will now be joined onstage by the great Carl Graves in the role of Billy Preston.
Graves is a world renowned musician known for his 1970’s hits “Baby Hang Up The Phone”, “Heart Be Still”, and “Hey Radio” as well as his tenure in Oingo Boingo. We are honored to have him with us on stage.
Catch Get Back Live on January 26, 27, and 30, 2024.
Here Comes the Son!
As our Britain’s Finest fan base grows, so does our Britain’s Finest family. Robert and Megan welcomed their second son, the appropriately named George Bielma, into the world, On November 12th, 2023. He may not know it yet, but he’s going to become a huge fan of The Beatles.
Beatles Holiday Sail: Britain’s Finest 1/2 Off!
The Cast of The Seas is back at it again for a Holiday Adventure! We’re spending the holidays aboard Royal Caribbean’s Serenade of the Seas December 20th-26th. We’ll be joining during the middle of an extended South American cruise embarking in Bridgetown, Barbados and disembarking in Fortaleza, Brazil. Our cast will feature:
Howard Pattow as John Lennon
Jay Nixon as Paul McCartney
Robert Bielma as George Harrison
Luis Renteria as Ringo Starr
Red & Blue
It’s the classic rivalry. Coke vs Pepsi, Rams vs 49ers, Democr…(I’m not going there), and even Early vs Late Beatles. The original releases of these compilations served as the start to many a Beatle fan’s journey into super fandom post the break-up of The Beatles. The binary of these compilations perfectly establishes how alien it seems that a single group without any line-up changes (Paul is Alive) could seemingly approach music in 2 completely different ways in such a short span of time and somehow magically craft excellence in both ways.
The new editions of these compilations feature more of Peter Jackson’s MAL track isolating AI software. Similar to “Now and Then”, Giles Martin was able to produce stereo recordings of even the earliest of Beatles’ songs in an official release. Both 1962-1966 (Red) and 1966-1970 (Blue) feature mixes from the most recent remasters and new additions to the compilations. Many of these tease the possibly release of other remasters coming soon such as “Rubber Soul” and “Magical Mystery Tour”.
I think that will do it for this December! The next time you’ll hear from us, it’ll be the next time you hear from us… and the year will be different!
If you like reading this monthly publication, please spread the word and share this to your Beatle-loving friends!
We wish you all happy holidays and hope you continue to spread peace and love.
With love from us to you,
Britain’s Finest
any chance you'll be playing the Continental Room in Fullerton again soon?
